1.Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using His Story Daily, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2.Description of Service
His Story Daily is a mobile application that provides daily narrated Bible stories and closing prayers. The Service is available on iOS with Android coming soon.
3.Account Registration
To use the full Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4.Subscription and Billing
a) Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to the Service.
b) Subscription: After the trial period, continued access requires a subscription of $39 per year.
c) Billing: Subscriptions are billed annually through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
d) Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
e) Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
f) Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
5.Free Tier
Users who do not subscribe may access one free story per week with limited features. Free tier users do not have access to the full story library, offline listening, or streak tracking.
6.Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated tools to access the Service
7.Intellectual Property
All content within His Story Daily, including story scripts, audio recordings, and app design, is owned by His Story Daily or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The Bible texts referenced are in the public domain.
8.Content
Our content is designed to be non-denominational and spiritually uplifting. We make no claims of theological authority. The stories are creative retellings inspired by Biblical accounts and are not intended as official theological doctrine.
9.Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free.
10.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, His Story Daily shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11.Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time from within the app.
12.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13.Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
